Right of withdrawal for consumers

Consumers have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party named by you who is not the carrier, take possession of the goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by a clear statement (for example, a letter sent by email) using the contact details shown in the operator information. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication concerning the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for the supplementary costs arising if you chose a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

Exclusion of the right of withdrawal

Under statutory consumer law, the right of withdrawal does not apply, among other cases, to contracts for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal was removed after delivery. For this reason, the right of withdrawal for delivered research preparations is excluded once the seal of a vial has been removed.

Note for business customers

Orders placed in the course of a commercial, scientific or professional activity (i.e. not as a consumer) are not subject to the consumer right of withdrawal.
